MASC is a tool created to help for extracting interesting
data from pictures. The data is used to create a simplified
map in MAS simulators.
How to use
The interface of MASC is quietly simple to use :

Put your map (JPG, PNG, GIF, or TIFF) in the
UPLOAD section

Set the default color by clicking on the preview image in COLORS LIST section.
Beware that the checkbox is checked to set the default
color otherwise, the pickked color will be added to the
interesting colors list.

Untick the checkbox of the default color to switch the color picker mode.
Select all of the interesting colors to extract by
clicking on the preview while the default color checkbox
is unchecked. Each selected color can be deleted by
clicking on the cross button.

Set the number of sectors to create in a row in
the width input in MAP CONTROL section.

Let the script automatically calculate the heigth by
clicking on the button Set number of sectors.
A preview grid will appear over the preview map.

If the preview grid is suitable for the simulation,
click on extract to send the map with the data to
the server. And wait for the updated preview with the
extracted colors.

The updated grid can be edited by clicking on a sector.
A dialog window will appear with the interesting colors
with their quantities in the sector, the color ca be
selected by clicking on one of them.

Set the size of sectors for the simulation and
choose the requested language in the available
list in CODE SNIPPET section.
